MANGROVE

Water-Power Harvester

Gyrene is proud to provide our troops with a safer, more efficient, and sustainable solution for their water needs.

The United States spends billions on distributing bottled water to our troops. The dependency on plastic bottles not only poses environmental challenges and generates tremendous amounts of unnecessary waste, it can be dangerous.

Transporting water to our military members is inherently life-threatening for those involved in the supply chain. The casualties related to water distribution are alarmingly high, with one in 63 in Iraq and one in 29 in Afghanistan suffering as a result.

At Gyrene, we developed a solution to address the costly and dangerous challenge of water distribution to service members.

To simplify logistics and reduce casualties, we designed the Mangrove Water-Power Harvester capable of producing water from the atmosphere, even in the harshest and driest climates — eliminating the need to transport water.

Gyrene Mangrove

With our mobile filtration system incorporated into the Mangrove, we can produce pure drinking water at the user level while simultaneously harvesting power. This technology liberates units and organizations from the risks and limitations of the conventional water supply chain.

By implementing the Mangrove Water-Power Harvester, we can simplify water logistics, reduce casualties, and mitigate the environmental impacts of plastic bottle dependency.

    • Mangrove’s power pack recharges through the vehicle, solar panel, wind generator, or any standard 120/240V input.

    • In addition to powering the water harvester, a remarkable 11 kW of power is available to do everything from charging smart phones to jump starting tanks.

    • Water from air: 28-30 gpd (82L) @ 80 F and 60% RH
